Creation Museum in Kentucky to Open this weekend
Fighting for Separation of Church and State - DefCon: Campaign to Defend the Constitution
Ok....I am all for people having their own beliefs. I have mine, and expect others to respect my choice in how I believe, or in how I have faith...so I have to do the same...
But...seriously...what about the science? Ignorance is Bliss for some...but this is taking it too far.

ebooks
The Burgomeister's Books: E-book Library - truly free ebooks (#3)
While I don't agree with the Burgomeisters philosphy that paper is dead, he has a great list of books here that he is willing to lend out to others.
so check em out, read a book you have never read before. Download it to your handheld pc, take it with you, read it at lunch...
But nothing will ever beat the feeling of holding a book in your hand, the feeling, smell, ability to curl up on the couch or in bed with it....

In These Time
Check out In These Times. There are great articles on social, economic, environmental, you name it....politics.
For fans of Kurt Vonnegut there is a great tribute to him as well. He used to write for In These Times on occasion.
Enjoy!

read this today....is it true? does this explain it?
Girls are likeapples on trees. The bestones are at the top of the tree. The boys don't want to reach forthe good ones because they are afraidof falling and getting hurt. Instead, theyjust get the rotten apples from the groundthat aren't as good, but easy. So the applesat the top think something is wrong withthem, when in reality, they're amazing. They just have to wait for the rightboy to come along, the onewho's brave enoughto climball the wayto the topof the tree.

The Newest Obsession
The Wire... We have spent 3 weekends in a row doing A season per weekend marathon.
and now as usual....done...and it is going to be forever until the next season comes out, and of course no HBO here....
An amazing look at drugs, police, politics, you name it.
It doesn't get more honest than this unless maybe you are actually on the streets as a cop.

Apocolypto
We went to go and see before Christmas.
I don't know what to say other than visually stunning, amazing to watch a (any)civilization self destruct in the name of "progress". How much money, how high the building, how close to god do you think you can get?
I would love to hear from anyone else who saw it and get their opinions.
I loved this movie and can not wait to own it!

Back into the world of bloggin
Haven't been here for awhile, so thought it was time to play a little catch up. Between life, christmas, kids, oh...and trying to find time to sleep and play... life has been a little busy. But I will do my best to get everything caught back up to speed.
The question is....where to begin?????
