Oh to be a bald prostitute

My fascination with Russ Meyers and Sam Fuller continues full steam ahead. I have put up 3 video clips on the left from movies that were pivitol in my learning to love movies and all that they can offer.
Aside from the usual sex, drugs, violence...which are highly prevalent in all 3 of these films...there was something else there. I was amazed that I was able to find the clips from these movies that were the most amazing to me. After watching the opening scenes to Russ Meyers Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! and to Russ Meyers The Naked Kiss...I don't know how you could not watch the rest of the movie. The opening sequence for Faster Pussycat... a rant on violence and women and how they are one and the same only to dissolve into a what many refer to as nothing other than soft core porn. Laughing at those critics now...as many of Meyers films are in the Muesem of Modern Arts permanent collection.
The Sam Fuller films are wonderful examples of just how friggin warped our society is. Especially Shock Corridor...the TRENT clip...This clip has Trent, one of the inmates at the asylum, black...walking with a sign that says Integration and Democracy don't mix. Go Home Nigger...Well Trent is black....and the scene that plays from that is absolutely the best I have seen on race, and hate crimes, and just what that can do to a persons mind.
Last is The Naked Kiss, opening scene...a prostitue beating her john... Beautiful woman, wanted enough to be paid for...And midway through her wig falls off... The rest of the movie is her quest to rid herself of the stigma and hate that follows her because of her chosen profession, and then having to pay the consequences of her actions...oh wait...love story as well!
i don't know...it is 5:30 in the morning and I woke up a little while ago with these 3 images in my head. I am probably not very coherant right about now. Watch and see. And if you haven't seen these movies in their entirtey...do so NOW!
