Dexter

Ok, I am on a t.v kick with the blogs right now, but I don't normally have regular t.v that I watch. The shows that I do like I get on dvd (or borrow them) But other than C.S.I on thursdays there is nothing that I really just feel like I HAVE to watch.
Until this year that is!!!!
If you have not seen Dexter....DO SO NOW!
It is based on the book Darkly Dreaming Dexter (there are 2 others in the series)And the portrayal of Dexter is just amazing. Better than the book. Though it was a good quick read.
If like me, you don't have Showtime (goddess bless my mother having it and tivo)the first 2 episodes are able to be watched at the Showtime Dexter website.
But I am hooked...and I saw great news today that it has been picked up for another season!!!!
So, you might want to ask what is this great show about? Well...without giving too much away...Dexter is a serial killer...but with a sense of only killing the "bad" people in the world. He goes after serial killers, rapists, child molesters.
He works for the cops as a blood splatter specialist. And through the current story you get the background that made Dexter what he is, and how he is.
